Your summer reading list might be filled with awesome books and wonderful authors, but not everyone with a reading list is a self proclaimed book worm. I’ve always believe in enjoying what you’re doing, so why not read some Manga instead of to kill a mockingbird? One might say that these “cartoon drawings” are just fantasies drawn on paper, but since when has fantasy become something we want to avoid? and time to enlighten yourself, there’s a full culture and even distinct genres of these “cartoon drawings”, and just because your family didn’t take you to Mt. Fuji for your summer vacation doesn’t mean you can’t sail the Grand Line searching with a bunch of crazy pirates searching for the ultimate treasure! With that said, here’s some of the best Mangas that I would personally recommend, I’ve made a separate list for the women folk too, you can check it out here :

10. Change 123 – In Change 123, we meet Makoto, a girl with a very strange problem. In order to cope with her 3 adoptive fathers’ incredibly intensive training methods, she developed multiple personalities, each with a different martial specialty. But what happens if none of them can beat her opponent on their own? And what further nugget of wisdom will be imparted by the great Kamen Raider?






9. Sundome – The “Roman Club,” a school group interested in the occult, to which he’s practically enslaved, has become boring for one Hideo Aiba. Until a girl named Kurumi Sahana shows up and wants to join up. 7. Nana to Kaoru – hey I did mention this is the guy’s list right? Kaoru is a 17-year old virgin who has a SM fetish. He always dreams about a SM relationship with his childhood friend Nana. One day Kaoru’s mom decides to hide all his SM toys so he’ll study for a change, by asking Nana to hide his toys. Nana finds the leather one-piece that Kaoru bought and tries it on but she accidentally locks it and doesn’t have the key!

3. Bleach – Rukia, a soul reaper meets Ichigo while tracking a Hollow is severely wounded while trying to protect him. She attempts to transfer half her powers to Ichigo in order to save him, her and his family. Ichigo unintentionally absorbs most of her energy, defeating the hollow with ease. The next day Rukia informs him that his absorption of her powers has left her stranded in the human world until she recovers strength. In the meantime Ichigo shelters Rukia in his home and becomes a substitute reaper.
